Registration of a .IE domain name is subject to the following conditions:
Owner:
The registrant must demonstrate a connection with Ireland (being Irish or an Irish company, owning a trademark valid in Ireland, having Irish customers or suppliers , having a service or product or website dedicated to the Irish people, and so on.)
Non-Irish Company
Sales invoices showing that the domain holder sells goods or services in the island of Ireland
Irish Trademark certificate
EU Community Trademark certificate (if enforceable in Ireland)
WIPO Trademark certificate (if enforceable in Ireland)
Signed letter from a third-party solicitor, accountant, bank manager or auditor, confirming that the domain holder is selling goods or services in the island of Ireland

- How to transfer? To initiate the transfer of a .ie domain name you will be asked to provide an authorization code (AuthID). You can obtain it from your current domain name's registrar.
You must also ensure that no protection against transfer is activated at the current registrar.
Once the transfer has been finalized, the domain name's expiration date is extended for a one-year period.
