The Registry running the .LB country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) for Lebanon recently made some changes to its policies and procedures.
Since 1 February, domain name applicants are no longer required to hold a Lebanese trademark that matches the domain name they wish to register.
In addition, it is now possible to register the same term under various extensions (for example, domgate.com.lb and domgate.net.lb) by the same entity.
These rules changed make domain name registrations under the Lebanese ccTLD easier.
