Every ccTLD appears in Latin, but most people in the world don't use Latin character languages, like China, Russia, and most of the Middle East.
That leads to internationalized domains names (IDNs).
Due to many factors, the use of IDNs was highly uneven.
In its adoption of IDNs, Russia is one of the leaders. Also South Korea is an early adopter of IDNs.
