1) What is the registration terms allowed? From 1 to 5 years
2) How long does registration typically take? From 24 to 48 hours
3) Are there any requirements to register a domain? Trustee required? Admin contact must be resident in El Salvador
4) Is there any documents or information required from the registrant? No, we are filling out the registration form.
5) Can registrants be both individuals and legal entities? Yes
6) Are there any fees for DNS updates, ownership updates, etc? DNS update: free, contact update: 20 euros, the registry does not forsee ownership changes (domain must expire and a new registration must be done).
7) Do domains automatically renew upon expiration? If so, can we turn this off? No.
8) Do you require us to notify you ahead of time if we do or do not want to renew a domain? If so, how much in advance? Between 1 to 2 months before expiration date.
9) If a domain does expire, can it be restored? Is there a redemption period? Fees? There's a 30 days grace period, during which the domain can still be renewed. Afterwards, the domain lapses and everyone can register it.
10) What are second levels available? .com.sv/org.sv/gob.sv/edu.sv
11) What is the allowed character length? 100 characters
